Zimbabwe Health Interventions with its partners are championing HIV prevention through providing sustainable, local and market informed socio-economic empowerment of vulnerable AGYW and caregiver households. Our approach is based on evidence that accentuates poverty as a key social structural driver of the HIV epidemic and ZHI’s DREAMS RISE Economic Strengthening interventions seek to build the socio-economic assets of AGYWs/caregivers to combat poverty induced vulnerabilities. Through the age appropriate and market oriented Siyaphumelela (Model) Economic Strengthening (ES) interventions supports AGYW’s to earn an income through entrepreneurship and or employment.
